I am unable to create Fields on crmd_orderadm_h table due to size limit data baselimit?

Hi Team,

 

Unable to create AET fields on crmd_orderadm_h table due to size exceeds of the table but my total fields of  crmd_orderadm_h is 168 fields only ,but it is not allowed to create.i am getting error like as below.please help here.

dates are greyed out in my Service Level Agreement

i have configured SLA and assigned it to the products ( service) in order for a service request to have service level agreement dates showing. they are greyed out and i have followed the config guide requirements. is there something i may have missed?

How to know Status is allowed to Update or Not

Hi Experts,

 

I try hard to find the solution but couldn't get correct answer.

I am updating status using FM 'CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN' , problem is if status is not update(becoz wrong code) still FM give sy-subrc is 0.

I have Header GUID , status profile and Status to be Update. In ABAP report how can we find the next status(to be update) is allowed or not.

 

For Example:

support there are 5 status like: E0001 , E0002, E0003, E0004, E0005.

If current status is E0003 , next allow status would be E0004 , E0005, but not allowed E0001, E0002. (In shot way it can not move back)

 

Is there any FM which give the information next change status is possible or not.

Please please Help.

Error while importing categorization schema from development system to quality system

Hi,

 

I have a multilevel categorization schema for complaint categories in development system and quality system. Now I have a requirement to add new categories in schema and move the same changes to quality system. I have added the categories in development system and transported the corresponding catalog, code and code group to quality using transport request. But while trying to import the schema to quality system through RFC, the CRM UI system is giving run time error-

 

"The system tried to insert a data record, even though the data record with the same primary key already exists ".

Exception class- CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB

error name - DBIF_RSQL_KEY_ALREADY_EXISTS

 

Please guide what can be the reason.

While need to make some changes to categorization schema, transport request or importing categorization schema is used?

Is their any use of merging categorization schema in this scenario?

Based on first drop value 2nd drop get filled,and based 2nd drop down 3rd drop value to set default?

Hi Team,

 

I have created 3 AET fields and generated Drop down.If user select first drop down value 2nd drop value get filled,if user selects second drop down value 3rd drop value to set default.

So how to do it.for this i have implemented get_v method first field, and i have created event handler for first field.So could you please share any sample code for implementing.Could you please help ..i will appreciate any sample code share..

Service order Requested Start and End dates different in Service order search result

Hi folks,

 

I created a service order and gave Requested start date and End date in the dates assignment block.

When I go to search---> service orders and perform a search ,Result page of service order displays different Start date and end dates.

What could be the reason for this behavior.

 

Pls suggest.

Client copy : Parameters for master data

Dear experts,

 


Currently working on a SAP CRM 7 project implementation, a new project is about to start, with the same customer and on the same system.

 

Those projects will have simillarities and use, partially, the same master data (BP, Products).

 

Here is my question : Would it be possible to perform a client copy of our current environment, and to choose a copy profile parameter that would copy the products and the different business partners, but would NOT copy the organizational structure ?

 

So we could create our own, separate organizational structure on a different sap client.

 

I am not sure if having two different organizational structures on the same SAP CRM is possible, even if using another client.

 

More generally, I am interested if anyone already used the client copy when working on two project for the same customer, in order to benefit from the work done in the other project, without having the unwanted data that would pollute ?

CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN_OW not update status but set sy-subrc = 0

Hi Experts,

 

I am updating status using FM CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN_OW  ,

CRM_STATUS_SAVE_OW and commit work.

 

Problem is if the status is not update the FM CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN_OW returning sy-subrc = 0. Technically it should return non zero.

is there any setting or customising need to done.

sapsr3.crmcont delete older data

hello,

 

sapsr3.crmcont is getting bigger. actual size is about 350Gb,

is there any way to sort rows by time, because i want to delete older data.?

Query on Warranty Replacement

Hello,

 

Sceanrio 1

 

I have a scenario where I am selling an equipment to the customer through SAP ECC. The equipment gets replicated as installed base in the SAP CRM system. Through the BADI CRM_EQUI_LOAD the 2 year warranty period which is mapped as a warranty material in sap crm gets assigned to the installed base and the scenario is mapped correctly.

 

Scenario 2

 

Post one year the customer complaints and he needs to be given a replacement product. However the warranty for the replacement product should only be valid for a year. The warranty start date would be the date on which the complaint was receieved however the warranty end date should match with the end date of the warranty period which was used when the original equipment was sold.

 

I have the following queries

 

1)Hence please advice how do I map scenario 2 which is of replacement warranty and link the same to Scenario 1 so that the warranty is correctly calculated when it comes to replacement?

 

2) Can this process be done through standard? if the same requires enhancement which function module do I need to use?

 

Please advice.

Enable XML send option for CRMXIF IBASE

Hi Experts,

 

We are currently working on Installed base outbound scenario from CRM to external system

 

Based on my understanding, we have IDOC and XML options to perform a outbound processing for IBASE

 

we are facing difficulties to enable XML option.

 

we have maintained site configuration - to enable the standard processing logic to trigger FM - crmxif_ibase_xml_send

 

Please help me with the answers for the following

  • Is there a standard enterprise service / Proxy interface already existing for this to use in CRM ?
  • if there is no proxy existing, what is the alternate option to enable it
  • if we need to create a new ES / proxy interface what should be the standard structure that should be used to enable it

How to find the Reference product for an Iobject

Categorization not copied to follow-up after upgrade to EHP3

Hi,

 

I am facing a problem after upgrading to EHP3 from EHP1.

 

In EHP1 the Subject and Content categories were copied from the the created Incident to the follow-up Problem.

After upgrading to EHP3, this functionality has disappered.Image may be NSFW.

Assigning a master warranty in Material Master

Hi,

 

PROCESS:

Would like to store the default Master Warranty to a product in the material master

 

When a contract is created, then the master warranty for the product be defaulted in the contract. This can be changed.

 

When a sales order is being created for this contract, the master warranty be defaulted to the contract. At the time of invoicing this product, the master warranty details need to be automatically copied to the Equipment with the warranty effective dates calculated.

 

If there is no contact and a quotation or sales order is entered, then the default should be from the material master of the product and allowed for changes.

 

How can this be done in SAP ECC
