I am a Second Lieutenant of the German Armed Forces and I am writing my bachelor thesis. The topic of my thesis is “The whole being more than the sum of its parts – integrated reporting in research and in practice”.
It is very interesting for me to get some facts or illustrations, how SAP linked financial and sustainability performance? How does this platform looks like? IIRC (International Integrated Reporting Council) presents some guiding principles and content elements but how does SAP implement this new kind of reporting in its company?
What are the limitations of integrated report because of legal regulation of financial reports especially in Germany (HGB – Handelsgesetzbuch) and the free choice of information by sustainability reports?
It could help me to present a practical example, how do companies implement this new idea of reporting.
I would be very grateful if you could tell or send me some information about using integrated reporting at SAP. Do you know someone, some good publications ( maybe in German ) or some illustrations which can help me?
