I have a list of queries, let me know if it's not okay and I should create multiple threads for each question below:
1 - Where do we maintain service items - CRM, ECC or both ? What hierarchy, categories and set types to be used ?
2 - If service items are maintained only in CRM and do not exist in ECC, will the Srv. order still trigger creation of IO in ECC ?
3 - Can we add service items to a quotation to show different rates of services as per the activity plan maintained in ECC ?
4 - If different service rates can be read into CRM from ECC (via Activity plan), then where do those rates appear in the service product item ? Price Details ? What Condition Type ?
5 - If the CRM system logistic scenario is set to create a reservation, will it auto. create a PR (in ECC) if the stock is not available ?
6 - If goods issue happens only after confirmation, then how do we execute a srv. order that require material to be withdrawn from the plant ?
7 - External Services - how can we generate a PR for it ? for e.g. acquiring external transportation services. and how will it hit the controlling object ?
8 - Do external Services exist as product type 'Material' in ECC and replicated to CRM ?
9 - If I am carrying out billing in CRM, do we still require creation of Debit Memo Request in ECC ?
Highly appreciate your answers, I understand but all of them have been really irritating which is why I put them into one thread.
