I need to implement a scenario :
The products to be sold has production batch no and serial no which it gets from production. I understand that in CRM Sales Order batch no can be entered and serial no can be entered while creating a delivery.
In a CRM service scenario for such products, if the end customer has the details of only the serial number, and not the batch number, how can the batch no be determined from the serial no? Is there any standard procedure or setting available or will it require custom logic?
This is a little urgent, so please help asap.
The CRM system needs to be integrated to SAP ERP.
